Outgoing Gophers senior Brock Vereen will get another chance to perform before NFL scouts on Saturday, when he plays in the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The game will be televised on NFL Network, with the kickoff at 3 p.m. Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch and Purdue defensive tackle Bruce Gaston are among the other standouts who'll be there.

Go Gophers!!

Did anyone see this game or know how Brock played?

I watched almost the entire game, but didn't see his number or hear his name.
I found a box score and saw that he had one tackle, and the East had about 150 passing yards. I suppose if you're a DB, not having your name called a lot can be a good thing.

I watched a little bit of the second half. He was mostly playing deep safety, like not in the picture during the play deep safety, during the portion I saw. He must have been great because they didn’t try to throw on him!!

Certainly more than a kernel of truth in what you are saying.
