The team had no update on Nelson's injury, but it doesn't appear to be serious.

Limegrover also said that all signs point to tailback Donnell Kirkwood being able to return from his sprained ankle injury for next Saturday's game against San Jose State.

While he may be able to return, I don't think he can knock Cobb or Williams out of the starting 2 deep.

Found it interesting they said if Mitch would have needed to come out for a play (helmet comes off, etc), Nelson would have been in, not Streveler. Trying not to burn his RS

On sports huddle he said they have a contingency plan, I took that to be Maye or Jones for a snap or 2.
