Good article. It was so insightful I had to check to see whether the ST wrote it themselves or it was syndicated from a paper that still practices journalism (surprisingly its the former). I don't think anyone, even Delaney, anticipated how much money the BTN would bring in. $11M is a lot of Rotel ads.
RBtL, you can see why Delaney is obsessed with expanding into east coast markets. Isn't part of the network's agreement with cable providers that they have to carry the BTN if they serve a market with a Big 10 team. That's the main reason Rutgers is in the mix.
