In The Athletic today, Stewart Mandel answers his mailbag. Included is the following:
Question: Stewart, since you have a young daughter, you have viewed “Frozen” and “Frozen 2”, as required by law. If you had to compare the main characters to college football coaches, who would you pick for each role?

Positive development: I have gotten to spend an immense amount of time with my 10-month-old son. Normally I only see him awake for about 3 hours a day during the week. — Brian S., Buford, Ga.
Mandel’s answer: You have no idea how much I love this question, because you have no idea how much Frozen dominates my life. It’s not just the movies themselves, it’s the soundtracks, the dolls, the dresses, the coloring books … well, you get the point. On to your little game.
Anna is the funny, outgoing and relentless optimist with unwavering loyalty to her family. Anna is Dabo Swinney.
Elsa is cold and incredibly paranoid but also extremely determined, and is nearly undefeated in clashes with evil forces. Elsa is Nick Saban.
Olaf is a jokester, seems naïve and is mostly just happy to be part of the gang, but he’s also had some surprisingly big performances in key moments. Olaf is Les Miles.
Kristoff is the charming, constantly overlooked underdog who’s used to having to do more with less. Kristoff is P.J. Fleck.
Finally, Sven is a reindeer who loves carrots. … Sorry, I got nothing.
