Came across Center Daily Times game preview for the UM-PSU match-up. It's a video by Travis Johnson and Walt Moody, who are the CDT's beat writers for everything PSU football.

Frankly, nicely done. Two guys who are devoted to their team, but see their role as delivering a balanced view of the opponent while highlighting the Nittany Lions' own strengths and weaknesses.

This is actually a fun watch as it is talking about the Gophers...not Iowa, Wisconsin, or other teams...who are typically being praised for sound coaching, execution, and good use of the talent at hand.

I think they do a really good job.

Great stat they pull in the video from the IU game: 6 scoring drives were from 64 yards or more. That's pretty damn impressive, even against a defense like IU. They also state some stats that I had not read from any of our local reporters. But I pretty much only read recaps here.

Not the most polished crew, but they appear to be more informed than 90% of the local media. Worth the watch

 


Wow, FACT based journalism, rather than the opinionated, personal agenda based drivel that we are forced to listen to by our local journalists.
 



These guys are telling us more about our own Team then most of the local Media.
