The way we continually find new and creative ways to lose games would make Glen Mason blush, but it is starting to become common place. I texted a buddy when we were up 9 late we would find a way to lose and he texted back no way. The last 4 minutes of a game is when back name coaches make their $. I am not even mad that we lost as you just knew it was going to happen.

The plays run out of time outs are a joke...either a shot clock violation, shot clock violation or a desperation heave. The offense acts like it has never seen a zone before in their life and dribble and pass around the perimeter until it is time to jack up a late shot. We have athleticism but if we do not our offense in transition it is a train wreck.

It seems like a lot of people share your thoughts. The Gophers scored two points (TWO!!!!!!!) in the last 4:30 of the game. Those two points were a tough reverse layup on an individual move by Joe Coleman. I am amazed that there is not more anger on the board after this game, but my guess is a lot of fans didn't watch a friday night game that had little meaning.

Where was you last coaching job?

Apathy is at an all time high for this program. '

Where is the old standby's Lategamemeltdown and Apathy?

They disappeared when Monson left. This is worse.

You are right on the money.

This one is on Tubby. Up 9 points with 4:27 to play. No excuse. How do we leave a guy wide open for a 3 pointer in regulation? The discipline on this team is terrible. We are one stud away from being able to overcome poor coaching. Had they not transferred we would have won at least 6 or 7 more games.

What I find remarkable is that we got beat by a better team, who co-won the conference, and it took for their 5th, 6th and 7th options to beat us. Simply put...we aren't deep enough this year to win games like this...why is not the issue today, it is simply an is. We have to keep all our players around this off season, no transfers, no thefts, no facebook stalking and maybe we get back to being a team that can win these types of games.

We are deep enough. We had them on the ropes, and lost the game because we went back to a style of run the clock out offense that we know from experience doesn't work. This one is squarely on Tubby.

How is that a better team, I can go over it a thousand times and cannot come up with a way that Michigan is better than Minnesota. Andre Hollins is as good as Burke, they had no one that could compete with Williams not one that was evan close, Eliason is better than any of Michigan's big guys, Novak is a decent 3 point shooter but that is about it and very easy to defend if you get at it. Douglas, I see nothing there. The only player on that team that Minnesota doesn't have an answer for is Hardaway, but Austin Hollins isn't that far off, not as athletic though. They should beat that team every time they play them.

It is something to do with confidence, I can only go back to what Nolen said at the end of last year, don't let Tubby get in your head to the other players, I can't help but think it is something about the way they are handled.

So you're saying the 10th team in the B1G is better than the co-champs? You may be right that the INDIVIDUAL match-ups are better, but the results from the year point to Michigan being better as a team.

Better coaching = better team = better results.
