Starting Line-up Tuesday Night

Who do you think starts next Tuesday night against Northeastern State?
Here is my starting five:
Al Nolen
Blake Hoffarber
Rodeny Williams
Raplh Sampson
Colton Iverson
 

How is Rodney?

Is he 100% recovered from his concussion? Then I would agree on your starting line-up.
 

I'd probably go with Al, Devoe, Hoffarber, Mbakwe and Ralph.

Ralph + Colton to start might be a little rude... (not that Mbakwe instead of one of the centers makes life easier for Northeastern St)... the opponents are very small height-wise... a pair of 6'7" guys are the tallest and neither of them have played in the program before.
 


I see the game is on BigTenNetwork.com. Last year I was able to pay / watch the preseason games on their website. Any idea if I can do this again? Do not want to get a subscription since the games that are broadcast on TV were not shown on their internet site. I do not get the Big Ten network.
 


I don't think Mbakwe will start the first game or two, I expect him to play well enough to earn a spot away from Ralph or Colton and start by the time we open against Wofford.

Not a one of us knows, so why can't we stop the "chat room" BS and let our Coach tell us when the time is right, and that is at the opening whistle. 100% agree with this... for now. At some point I think it will change, but for now this is what it will be.
 

My prediction is that Tubby will go with his veterans to start the season. Al, Devoe, Blake, Ralph and Colton. Trevor, Rodney (if healthy), Austin and Mo will get significant minutes. Trevor and Rodney will challenge for starting positions early in the season. Maverick will see some floor time, but Devoe will get the bulk of the back-up point guard minutes. Obviously this is just a guess and probably completely wrong. Can't wait for Tuesday to see how the team looks.
 



Not sure why you would leave your likely leading scorer on the bench to start the game (Devoe). Agree with CDH27 on starting lineup. Until Mbakwe and Williams prove it on the floor, they will not start. I'm sure they will get good minutes, lots of players do under Tubby.

I don't think you can pay for just one game, but you can pay for just one month to see everything streamed online for either the whole conference or one school. If you check out the link you can see their options. I plan on just paying the $8 to see the Gophers play in November. With that you get to see their other preseason game against Winona St. and their opener vs. Wofford.

not sure what the starting lineup will be, but in my opinion it should be devoe, blake, rodney, trevor, and ralph. best combo of size, length, athleticism and shooting. Al is a senior and all, but his shooting is such a liability that he really shouldn't be starting. He is almost the perfect backup PG though with his great defense and driving skills.

I don't understand it, I think he should be leading the team in minutes, and will be by the Big Ten season.

Don't worry GV, you weren't the only one ripping me for saying Devoe wouldn't start.

I just looked at Tubby's starting 5 in their Canada exhibition games, and he had the same starting 5 every game. I figured that was the group he was going to go with... and that same group happens to the 5 starting tomorrow night.

I was gonna say somethin smart like Tubby wants to start Rodney ahead of Devoe because it is his final year before the NBA but maybe I shouldn't. :)

Another question I have (and I think I ask this every year) can a player play in an exhibition game and still retain his redshirt eligibility status? (e.g. Eliason). Anyone?
