Do we have any idea who the starters will be yet?

Obviously, just a guess but here goes....

LT: Ed Olson (There is a possibility that Lenkiewicz beats him out)
LG: Epping
C: Christenson (with T.Olson being a wild card)
RG: Bak
RT: Campion

I think right now in practice it's LT - Lenkiewicz, LG - Epping, C - Christenson, RG - Bak, and RT - Campion. Sounds like Ed Olson and Lenkiewicz are in a pretty tight battle for the LT job. Someone who's been at a practice can confirm this.

jaymil has it correct! The second team is LT - Ed Olson, LG - Joe Bjorklund, C - Tommy Olson, RG - Isaac Hayes, and RT - Foster Bush.

Pirsig not on the radar this year?

Pirsig not on the radar this year?

This really is the 1st year since maybe 2009 that the Gophers haven't had to put freshmen/red-shirt freshmen into starting roles. Only Isaac is breaking into the 2 deeps.

I thought pirsig was dealing with an illness or injury, and so is Bobek. Later in the year they may break the two-deeps but right now they are trying to get healthy, and later they will be playing catch-up.

Wow...if you would have told me two years ago that coming into this year that neither Olson would be starting going into fall camp I would have said no way (barring injury). This says alot about how hard Kill & Co have recruited the O Line and the type of talent we have (plus more coming in!).

I still think this group is 2 years away from dominating in the B1G, but we will see a lot more performances like the the bowl game this year.

Absolutely agree. I've always thought that 2014 (and beyond) was really the year for this offense to start rolling.

Sooooooo, if Marek L beats out Eddie, they could conceivably not start a single senior on offense this year (Engel could be the one exception but he's hardly head and shoulders above the competition), but for God's sake DO NOT call this team young....
