I saw that too, if Stanford is looking to keep Harbaugh around long term I would think that would have to change.

And they spent a lot of money downsizing the stadium to about 50,000 so it would be full - and even that doesn't work.

I just logged on to post the same but see you already started this thread. I'll add a Musberger comment I just heard,

"the other big question that Stanford has about Jim Harbaugh, can they keep him, as a head coach? Will another college program from the midwest come get him, or maybe a team from the NFL. We'll talk about that later..."

Herbstreit weighed in that "if the Michigan job opens up, Jim Harbaugh will be te coach."

Personally I hope that UM loses to Wisconsin and beats Purdue and OSU to save RR's job. The Gophers hire Harbaugh, and Michigan doesn't get their name on the jug for the next 12 years.
