really nice field they play on. This stadium was just redone???? Its California???

They downsized their old 90,000 seat stadium o 50,000. We have their stadium now, more or less, but I wish we had their QB and the running back, Gerhart - note that he is 230 lbs or so. With those two, we'd have gone 10-2.

10-2???
i hope you are kidding.
our great offensive coordinator would not know how to use them

We should've put in grass.

Grass = the new home field advantage.

I think gopherjay was using sarcasm. I guess you could say that the grass is not always greener. Maybe they don't water the field or they are trying to develop a brown variety of grass. Ugly.

Wow, Stanford looked great Saturday night. I wish we'd implement more of that i-formation. Seems like Hoese is good enough to allow this.

Grass sucks. Why not play without helmets while they're at it?

The internals (concourses, stairs) of the two stadiums are nearly identical. Minnesota has a bigger pressbox/luxury box area, but that's the only major difference.

FWIW, Gerhart and Decker were also the two best players I saw play this season.
