Okay, to recap: There were 96 GopherHole participants who predicted the winner of each Gopher football game. Last week we had a 51 who were tied for first place -- this week the ranks thinned out a fair amount.
Before the season started, only eight picked Wisconsin to win Saturday's game: Dengue Gopher, GoldenTimeOfDay, Goldy's Gal, Gopher Lady, NDSU Bison, NEGopher, Noonan, and Weisbrod. Each of them receive one point for the win.
And then we add in the bonus points. (You receive two bonus points for two straight correct predictions, three points for three straight correct predictions, etc). At this point, the most points one can have is 19 -- and four of the eight who picked Wisconsin have had five straight correct picks (Gopher Lady, , NEGopher, Noonan, and Weisbrod). GoldenTimeOfDay and Goldy's Gal have three and two straight correct picks (earning a bonus of 3 and 2 points respectively) while both Dengue Gopher and NDSU Bison had picked NU to win and thus are ineligible for any bonus points this week.
