Too many highlights of our defense looking like...well...our defense.

To be fair, some of these highlights came against people unlikely to see the field much this year. In addition, whenever you compile an offensive highlight reel, of course the D is going to look bad. I thought the D had some good moments too. They just aren't shown here.

I look forward to this fall where they will put it on for our city.

The defense was pretty good imho. really good quicks off the edge, and stout in the middle. plus some nice plays by reeves, cooper, and royston. sam can lay the lumber too...he looks a little gimpy still, but he was cracking pads pretty well.

Wills is the guy that need to go through better conditioning.

I have not seen any D highlights. Would have been nice to see a couple of Ced busting up the OLine and causing havok.

I wasn't at the spring game, and only saw highlights on the news and this you tube, but is Weber still radar-locked on a single receiver on every play as it appears here (on you tube)? I like Weber; he does a lot of things well, but this will be his fourth season of being in the program, third as a regular. Isn't it time for him to have developed enough to go through a progression, or at least look off a receiver?
