I just had the realization that we might actually be the lead in for SC... And for something positive.
 

You never know with ESPN. It could be analyzing the NBA's decision to rescind Kobe's technical or Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy playing 36 holes together on Sunday for the fun of it.

I think they will show both Rodneys block and Trevors block on Zeller and IMO they should put them both together as the #1 play on the top 10.
 



I just heard the guy who did the ESPN recap call Andre Hollins "Joe Coleman" and "Austin Hollins", call Joe Coleman "Dan Coleman" and pronounce "yogi Ferrell" "yogi fur-el". Wow.
 

Annnd the first highlight is of an NBA fight.

ESPNEWS played a very long clip of Tom Crean's post game interview. They showed him saying a lot of praise for Mbakwe & Tubby.

I heard a John Coleman in there too.
 


I feel for Joe Coleman. He's been called by his brother's name probably more times than his own this season.

Just saw that. Now, I'm not saying it was top 10 worthy, but Austin's absolutely sick spin move off Oladipo and scoop past Zeller is getting short shrift. Potential top 10.
 

What top 10 did you guys see? The one I watched was the top 10 goofs...like Phil slipping on a rock.
 

I have to say the Gophers got super boned on the Top 10. Trevor was 9, ok. Rodney's block should have been in there and when haven't they given the number 1 to the team beating the number 1 and the following student rush of the floor?

Rushing the floor has become cliche and no longer worthy of a lot of attention. ESPN did not do that. Fan bases wanting to make more of something than it is did that. Beating number one is worthy of rushing the floor, but when everyone does it, people stop paying attention.

I agree, I thought it should have been in there as well. They could have easily made the LeBron pre-game dunk and the halftime dunk at the Bulls game one play to make room. It was a pretty good night for plays though, that Billups pass was nuts.
 

We got our own 5 minute segment on ESPN. I would like to think that is a little better than having a top play.
 

That's ridiculous. You're absolutely right about both of those points. I always get pissed off when we beat somebody good (in whatever sport) and the majority of the talk/highlights are about the bigger market team. I can understand the talk part a little, but show more highlights of the team that frickin won. The sad part is that they prefer to show the other team making a three than Rodney or Trevor having a ridiculous dunk or block.

What exactly was this? I watched a pathetic amount of ESPN after the win and the only 5 minute segment I saw was more about Indiana than us. It was Crean's press conference and other talk/stats/history focusing on Indiana.
