SportingNews: Allowing summer instruction is win-win for college basketball

I also believe that FB should take this same approach.

Starting this summer—in fact, it’s happening now on some campuses—coaches will be allowed to work with players for two hours per week in the summers. There are varying academic requirements for the players participating, but the bottom line is that if they are to be on campus working with the coaches, most will be enrolled in summer school. This inevitably will improve graduation rates.

Better students. Better athletes. A win-win, right?

So is it happening here? Are there students staying and working with the coaches here this summer? And will this change the summer Pulley league play?

S/b minimal impact

impact on academics is very little overall & for most, zero.. don't believe the hype.

Max 16 hours all summer

But, certified summer league rules should* change... but Gopher players haven't taken advantage of some roster rules that should change any way.. more later perhaps, gotta get off the comp, mom grounded me again
