12. Minnesota
“Row the Boat” some more. P.J. Fleck can build off an 11-win season with the talent the Gophers return, including Tanner Morgan and Rashod Bateman in the passing game. Minnesota's entire offensive line is back, though the defense will miss All-American safety Antoine Winfield Jr. The Gophers are going to generate a lot of buzz this offseason, but the schedule is tougher this time. A two-week stretch in October against Wisconsin and Michigan will be the turning point.

Thanks for the link!

Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Texas (probably) overrated once again.

If Notre Dame goes undefeated with Clemson, @ Wisconsin and @ USC, then I'm totally wrong and they would definitely deserve a playoff spot.

Late season Texas looked pretty good ... but "Texas is back" is a meme for good reason so yeah.

I think Notre Dame has a chance to actually earn that ranking, and since this is a way too early predictive type thing ... maybe not wrong.

I'm a bit surprised Clemson is willing to play @ Notre Dame in November. I know Clemson isn't like the SEC in that they occasionally play cold weather ACC games, but still. Kudos to them.

I think of all the top teams Clemson probabbly can most afford to up their SoS ... without having to worry a great deal.

I don't think Clemson scheduled Notre Dame, I believe they are up in their rotation to play them with the ACC/Notre Dame agreement.

Notre Dame plays 5 ACC teams each season now under the current deal.

Good point. I always forget about that open marriage ND has with them.

It is part of Notre Dame's agreement with the ACC.

They play almost half their season against ACC teams, and they get to be in the conference for all the other sports.

Auburn and Irish above Gophs...?
