Meh, it was neither that good or bad, but I wouldn't play it at the bank. I like the original but not the parody.
 

they just need to play whatever pop song is big at the moment to get the student section bouncing.

Hey, if it is good enough for Chris Farley it is good enough for me. You my son have no sense of humor. BTW, it is stupid enough to work. I wouldn't be surprised to see the gray hairs doing the Tarzan yell. You have to cater to whole crowd junior

I just googled it and I must say that has to be one of the most disturbingly terrible videos every created.
 


Tarzan Boy has come up on here before. I know this because last time, I had to drop the 1.29 to iTunes to recapture a piece of my mis-spent youth. If it was up to me, I'd go with Let's Go Crazy by Prince. It's got Minnesota ties and almost everybody knows it. I doubt he'd ever allow it. That little weasel is extremely protective of his music.

I'm personally glad they have played "North Country" by Rocket Club during the games the last 2 weeks. It's not a end of 3Q song though. Probably the best MN song done recently.

Love it, but someone (see John Gunyou) would complain it's too violent. Seriously they would. When I was an undergrad at UMD, they changed the mascot's name from Killer to Champ because someone in the community thought Killer was too violent a nickname for a Bulldog mascot.
 




students vs.graybeards

How about at some point during the game we have a song contest between students and us graying generation. They can play one of the student's crappy songs and then something from the true rocking generation (e.g., Soul Man, Mony Mony, etc.) and see who rocks the Bank the most. Teague, you paying attention? !? C'mon and make it happen. You're one of us and I'm sure we can kick punk a$$ in such a friendly little competition.

Not bad for an original piece of music. Each time they play North country at the bank I like it more. They should play this at other Minnesota events.
 

Every 4th Quarter song worked tonight! Student section was going crazy. Oh and they brought "Sweet Caroline" back towards the end of 3rd Quarter - Never sounded better with 50,800 singing it!! WOW!!!
 

They did a fantastic job with the music throughout the entire game. Great work.
