Something the ticket office can do to help ticket sales next year

They really need to look at the games that sold out/mostly sold out and see which tickets went last. My thought is those are the least desirable tickets. They are not the most expensive tickets but clearly the market doesn’t think these are worth the price when nearly every other ticket is sold.

nice to have two games of data to draw from on this.

Me? I’ll be getting season tickets for the first time. We’ll have a new baby...but you can’t be a gopher fan your entire life if you don’t start as a baby
 

Yes, the single best way to lower your cost for Gopher games is to buy season tickets. Keep those young Gophers coming!!
 

They already do what you say for season tickets. Rather than print the price on the ticket of what they have determine for the value - Georgia $35, Wisconsin $200 - they just take the average of each games estimated value. Furthermore the price isn’t necessarily the average “market price“ for each game. Added in is a convenience factor for all tickets at once, knowing you have the same seat, and assurance of having a seat.
