I don't think the U could sell it. I don't believe they can market individual athletes for money. Hence why jersey's don't have last names on them.

Not sure on that one. Gophersports.com has a photo store that features some athletes, maybe not as prominently as this Williams dunk pic is, but there is one of the football team running out of the tunnel from behind and you can see several players fairly close.
