Every Gopher fan should be pi$$ed with the SDU debacle. But we need to get over ourselves and plop our collective butts down in TCF. The kids need our support. I doubt if many students will show up.

I am still in mourning and literally feel sick to my stomach over yesterday's debacle. However, I am abosutely in for the long haul.

I'll never give up on the program. Brewster is another story.

I'm going to try to be there. Not everyday you get a chance to see USC play in Minnesota. Don't plan on paying more than $25 and if there's a lot of tickets on the curb, I might wait until kickoff and try for a $10 swap.

Great thread, I'm in. There is a whole season to make amends for this.

I'm gonna be there, bringing my gf to her first Gopher game (she's an Illini grad, but I forgive her). No matter what happened this past weekend, it's college football. On any given weekend, stunning upsets happen. We don't always have to be on the bad side of those upsets.

Kansas did it, why not the U?

Of course I'll be there. Barring a family emergency or comet striking the earth, there's no way I will miss a home game.

I might bring a brown paper bag to cover my head, but I'll be there. :)

It goes without saying that I'll be there. Yelling on 3rd down until the clock runs out.

Considering the hell I've been getting from all my friend's back home, I have nothing left but to stand by the gophers and hope we can upset some damn team the rest of the season so I have something to gloat about...

I'm getting up at 3am CST next Saturday to be the first one with a beer in his hand at TCF.

I will beat every single Gopher fan to the tailgate. And my current state touches the ocean.

I hate the coach, and i hate the AD, and i am not a fan of the starting QB but that doesnt mean that i wont be there to support my team.

I'll be there. Partly hoping and praying for a miracle, but mostly because I have a great view of the cheerleaders and there's nowhere to go but up after the Coyote cheer team.

Its in my blood. I will be hopeful that our defense has improved. I am very impressed with kick-off team play. I do remember when every kick-off was an adventure. I am getting confident in our ability to stop the receiving team.

As bummed as I am about the loss I do think we need to hold our heads high and support the team because the media is devouring them.

Saturday afternoon was the first time I can remember when me and Mrs. GoGophersRah did not sing "Hail Minnesota" at the end of the game (neither did the team). Having said that, I was there and stayed until the end. Just as I have done for 10+ seasons as a ticket holder.

I'll be there cheering on the boys in Maroon & Gold (ummm, well the ones which aren't under NCAA santions) on Saturday. I will not (nor have I ever) boo the team. And I am hoping the team and I are all singing Hail Minnesota at the end.

Go Gophers. Rah!

I'll be there.

I'm leaving it up to my 14 year old. If he wants to see USC, we'll use our tickets. If he doesn't, I already know my wife has no interesti in a 60 point loss. So I'll just watch from tv...

bright side. I will be able to enjoy the game from a chair-backed seat by halftime. It won't be as frustrating as USD because we aren't predicted to win by 3 TDs. I just hope we can stay within 3 TDs ourselves.

Bayfield, Saturday was so bleak for Gopher fans even the dang Moe's bus was late getting us out of there yesterday. Yeah, they'll be eight of us at the game this Saturday.

The problem is it's been years since they've been able to get to a Quarterback, that's meant that there's no such thing as a "third and long" against the Gophers. Now it means that unless the Senior Safeties can settle things down and the front seven can get some penetration when they're NOT facing a screen, it's going to be a long damn year and Brewster's last.

Yeah, they'll be eight of us at the game Saturday and at least seven of us just enjoy College Football period. Unfortunately, we bought extra tickets for NIU, NW and PSU.

I don't see them all being used...

They sure were something weren't they?

I took Moe's bus x3 last season. Will be doing the same again but not Saturday as I will be parking and walking to TCF to meet my son. Moes is very close to the in-laws pad and I like the service.

We need to shake hands sometime this Fall.

I will be there. Everyone needs to pull up their panties and get out to support the team.

Everyone is still supporting the team but wether we should support Brewster after this season is another question. Our offense looks like it has the potential to both run and pass so I think we are going to be fun to watch on offense. Defense will be like watching nightmare on elm street..

I will say we need to let the season play out before we decide what to do with Brewster. It's a long season and a lot of things can happen.

Gold04 - not according to what I've been reading. Some have stated that not many students will show up.. tickets will be cheap ... stadium soon to be half empty ... blah blah blah.

5 that will be there

Yesterdays game was so bad because it was so disappointing and unexpected to us. The team looked decent against Middle Tennessee State...then thug. The kids do need our support. I don't care for the coach and its going to get worse before it gets better. The 5 of us will there yelling for the gophers and booing Lane Kiffen.

Got the sitter all set up and the Mrs. and I will be tailgating and cheering. Sh*t, after being at the Michigan (2003), Wiscys blocked punt, NDSU, and IOWA to close out the Dome, this is nothing. We must be the dumbest fans out there because we take the beating all the time but keep coming back to cheer with blind faith.

Just imagine if we actually go to a Rose Bowl in our lifetimes, we can actually say we've been going to games for "X" years and it was ALL WORTH IT!
