A tweet from Doogie today:

Tubby recently chatted w/ incoming pres. Eric Kaler... So, Tubby, could you get a new practice facility? "Not could, we will."

What does that statement even mean? The new prexy is asking if tubby can get a new practice facility? What? Is he going to go to the store and pick one up? Does the national champ get a free practice facility? Build the man a practice barn! Tubby would probably chip in a fair amount, just slap "The Orlando 'Tubby' Smith Basketball Complex" on the side.

I would guess that the tweet implies that Doogie asked Tubby if he could get a new practice facility.

This further implies that in Tubby's talk with the new pres, that Kaler was very positive towards the proposition of said practice facility.

I wouldn't expect the new President to say anything but being positive towards Tubby's wishes. That being said, he isn't in office for seven months and gosh I hope we have made significant progress prior to Kaler's arrival. Not to mention, it's not as if Kaler will tackle a new practice facility as an immediate priority.

Let's hope we don't have to wait for Kaler's arrival to make progress.

Well, maybe if Doogie happens by today he'll clarify the tweet. We know the incoming President is an big athletic supporter ( yah! ) so maybe it's true.
