3) Lack of penalties! When was our last OL holding penalty.

4) Cobb's lack of fumbling. Rare for a guy, especially not a bigger back, to carry the pill so much and not fumble. Can't remember his last fumble.

5) Body language. Looking at the shots of the sideline, you would never know anything bad happened (Nelson/Jones fumble). This team is on a mission and believes.

7) The blocking of our three TE's. Superb.

A point raised by the Center Daily News piece was that the PSU defense had not allowed a 4th down conversion prior to today.

Today the Gophers went +3 for 3 attempts on 4th down.

Not insignificant to say the least.

Balds - great takes and I agree. If I were to sum up those points it would be character and players that are well trained. They are doing the small things right and do not let setback get them down and now expect to win. I would add the few penalties we had yesterday were questionable (PI calls against us were not called on PSU).

This is happening with not lots of 4 star guys. A great coaching staff is turning around this program. The fans are starting to come around, the general sports public is starting to take notice. I know the Gophers will be underdogs in the next two games (good role for us). I know are chances on paper will be small but if you follow this team would you be shocked if we did not at least win one of them?
