So how much better are we than A&M?

If Texas A&M played with their backup quarterback but you didn’t get to tell them until the 4th play of the game they had to play their backup QB

I would pick Mn straight up in that matchup

Right? Even with their starting QB out they could only score 10? And allowed CU 7?

Too bad that Colorado couldn't hang on for the win.

Ha, love Gopher fans... jump right into top 10 discussion. Good win today, convincing. This seems to be a sneaky good team. We got Ky and Bucky in, so the armchair coaches can take a seat. All is good!

They didn't let Zack sling it...🤬

😎😎

You do realize that if PJ let’s Zach throw the ball he just sets himself for a QB controversy.

I think you are right but who cares. If he is using your logic it just tells me he doesn't actually believe in competition for spots.

You could say the same about every position. He may have trashed Mo's career using this logic. Let the cream rise.

Tanner is destined to be PJ's OC in 5 years, maybe 8 years.

While I think they could probably let a few backups get more time in blowouts, they can compete for spots in practice. I don't think mop up time really settles any position competitions.

100% agree

It only makes controversy on Gopherhole and in the media.

I want him to play like we are in contention for a natty. That means ruthless beatdowns of inferior opponents. That's what those who believe they are in contention do, we should to. Might as well get in the habit and the mindset.

I would rather lose a meaningless game being over aggressive than take the attitude that we have to run clock and play it safe.

Elite players want to play on a team that's balls to the wall.

I'd be interested to know: Before today's kickoff in Boulder, how many posters here saw Colorado as an "inferior opponent"?

Yeah, it was pretty much viewed as a toss up.

I would not have been shocked to see the score the other way and we gave up 400 yards...

Really had no idea going into this game.

Today in the NCAA schedule — Week 3 — is when things really start to get interesting.

It's the beginning of that part of the season in which teams really need to justify their high rankings, or face dropping out of the top. Pretenders soon to be separated from contenders.

By halftime it was clear.

He doesn't need to start a tossup game like that, but when you're dominating lets go!

We will never get there without the mindset.
We are receiver U after all.

Jimbo Fisher apparently has been saying is team has been playing very 'average' football and not how he has wanted it.

Normally you think that might be some coach speak... but it seems there's a lot of truth to it.
