Enough of a ridiculous focus on a negative journalist's perspective - what about our next game against USC? Are we ready for the next challenge? What are our strengths & weaknesses?

USC got beat at home by a Nebraska team that is struggling a lot with winning at home.

They scored 36 points at home against Cal-Poly. They also are shooting 29% from 3, so that helps.

EE will get a test as USC has two 7-fters; Dedmon is the starter. Yet the stats show that they have not dominated on the boards. Their best player player to date has been a 5-7PG who is lightening quick and the best 3 shooter.

Thus far they have been so-so but their record indicates they must play good D. Their Sr. guard is out for the season with an ACL.

Dedmon nolened himself and is out for a month or two.

Their record indicates they play sloooooooooooooooooooow. Their defense is decent, but nothing to write home about.

Looking at some of their box scores and stats, it appears to be a favorable matchup for the Rodents. As Nate pointed out, they don't shoot it well from 3.

They also had a recent game in which they had THREE (3) assists. You almost have to be TRYING to have that kind of a number in the assist column.

Not if you're Kris Humphries.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Well, I'm diabetic.

Ha, well done. Reminds me of the quote from the Office (the good one).

"Under strengths, you've put accounts. But that's not really a strength, is it? That's your job. And under weaknesses, you've put... eczema."

The line for the game is Gophers -6 right now. I'd like to think we cover that with the confidence the team has after beating V Tech without Trevor. Thinking about placing a wager.

Thanks!
I'm still waiting for your strengths, Malik
