He landed a dunk that sent the gym into a frenzy when he tossed the ball behind his back, caught it in mid air, and did a 180-degree, two-hand slam. He advanced to the second round and may have moved onto the championship if he landed a 180-degree, between-the-legs dunk while coming around the rim."

The knock on JP when Bo was recruiting him was that he didn't have much of a perimeter game...that and his strength have greatly improved. He will be a solid contributor at UNC.

Don't get me wrong, I love an athletic throwdown in the lane, and I'm excited for Wally to join the team, but I'd be even more excited if this kid can stroke a mid-range jumper at 45%

I'm pretty sure he has a decent shot. We aren't dealing with a Rodney Williams type perimeter game here. Plus he'll probably red-shirt, so he'll have all freshman year to perfect his jumper.

Completely agree, but I wouldn't expect 45% for a year or so. I'm hoping he becomes a big time 3 point threat also. I'm really excited about both new recruits.
