Did you guys see that the announcer tried to get the chant going but failed. I think it could be very powerful but I think he needs say it a few more times, the scoreboard needs to be in tune with the chant (it was off) and cheerleaders should have signs for each section. Your thoughts?

good first try, definitely need to make sure the jumbotron needs to match the signs. i thought it was good for the first time with most of the fans having no idea what was going on lol

I missed it, was late getting to my seat. But I think Homecoming is a much better chance to help people figure this out. Fewer opposition fans, yada yada yada. I think you're right, could be a pretty cool chant.

The scoreboard is off even for the rouser, not a big deal because I can spell Minnesota, but I do notice it.

I thought it was pretty pathetic and pretty sure the student section almost started booing after seeing how poorly coordinated the announcer and jumbotron was haha

I wasn't in the stadium at the time but why was the PA announcer trying to start the cheer? I thought the cheerleaders would do that.

It went really awful. It was embarrassing how it kept flashing on the scoreboard to a silent stadium. It should start with the cheerleaders and the students. The rest of us can then join in. I'd like to see it work, so I hope something can be figured out to get a better response next time.

It will take some time to develop new traditions. By definition, something isn't a "tradition" until its done over and over and over agian. I hope that whoever plans these kinds of things gives it enough time to catch on. In 2007, the "who's house?...Our house" chant was a little lame given how pathetic our "house" was. By the time fans actually started doing it, the PA folks had given it up as a failure.

Ski-U-Mah should be awesome. It wasn't. Keep trying until it is. Simple.

Faster

Need faster video sequence for SKI-U-MAH. The video was too slow and everyone got bored with it.

I agree that the cheer team needs to start it, or the video just starts it and the crowd takes over.

My wife looked at me and said "What was that?" after everyone lost interest.

Hello, Hello?

The band the students. The drums, the cadence. The scoreboard. The announcer, The cheerleaders, signs.

It was Gold Out, and the band and cheerleaders were Maroon. What gives. We cann't get out of our own way.

And now you want SKI- U - MAH! It just too much.
