I attended one of the games in Sioux Falls a few years ago and there wasn't an empty seat in the place. Full of Gopher fans. Great night, great venue, great win. It is part of why I think its a good game to play (a neutral game that is really a home game.)

But, I looked at Ticketmaster and there are not many tickets sold. Seats available everywhere.

I am a little surprised by this. I am going to Chicago for Gopher football at Wrigley Field, but thought the Gophers would fill the Pentagon. Doesn't appear so.

So, if you want to go watch, you can get a seat. Third row baseline seats $25. As close as you might ever get to a Gopher MBB game.

Nebraska game there last week looked sold out.

Nebraska played Oklahoma. We're playing...San Francisco, sans Bill Russell. An absolutely strange matchup to have in South Dakota. Not to mention, the allure of attending a Gopher football game at Wrigley is significant enough to take some fans away from SD.

Oh, and we can't even fill the lower bowl at The Barn for home games, let alone a game vs SF a state away.

Lots of work for Medved ahead of him, I have faith though that it will happen.

Go Gophers!!

There are a lot of Gopher fans in southwest Minnesota and is Sioux Falls who don't get a chance to see the Gophers in person that often. That was a lot of the crowd the time I went. Thought I'd mention there's a chance to get real close for those fans.

Wasn't meant as a big criticism of anything. That said, I figured they'd fill the 3200-seat Pentagon as they have for the other games. But, it doesn't look like there are 800 seats sold as of now looking at the Ticketmaster arena map.

Indeed, work to do.
