As the Trestman-for-Gopher-Coach momentum continues to gather steam, and given the precarious economic environment we find ourselves in -- as a nation, as a state, and as a university -- it seems Marc Trestman could do as well in the W-L column as most of the 'big' names we see bantered about...and certainly better than the outgoing coach...Trestman would prolly be willing to do it for a lower salary than most/all the others.

And hopefully, the prospective buyout owed to the Montreal Alouettes wouldn't prove to be an obstacle...

Then, the Brew could get his $775K going-away package (less any deductions for damage caused during his escort to the front curb) without the Athletic Dep't having to borrow from the General Fund again.

major canadian recruiting pipeline?

You are thinking as small as your moniker.

No!

We got $22M from the BTN per year. And all the $ from ticket sales and premium seat licenses....concessions...and game day parking passes.

No thinking small allowed anymore....at least around me.

$775k is pocket change compared to those $.
