Sign right here if you love the Duke choke!

I picked Florida to win it over Duke because of their deep tested roster compared to Duke relying on super youngsters. I was expecting a Duke choke before now.

I was happy to see Houston win because I love a good comeback and had them playing in the title game for my bracket.

With that said, am I the only one who doesn't care about Duke all that much? Teams that don't play Minnesota much, I just can't really bring myself to get really fired up about. Like Duke, the Patriots, the Celtics, they just don't play Minnesota teams much.

Sure they have success but, whatever. I have so much more animosity for the Packers, Badgers, Bears, UND, Iowa, etc.

It got me to thinking about the parallels between Scheyer and Ben. Both 3,4 years in as head coaches. Both orchestrated teams that just collapsed to close out a game.
Both get it right at the end of games sometimes too. ( I mostly saw Duke play two games this year....both of which they gagged to lose.)

Yes, they are very different...I get it. Different players, different pressures and scrutiny. Different budgets. Different tradition...on and on

But if you saw Ben's guys in California and you saw Scheyer play Houston and Kansas and you didn't know anything about either coach or team....you might think Ben was the better coach. (In that vacuum)

This will stick with Scheyer for awhile. Was this the best team he'll ever have? And they lose up 14
playing not to lose. Parallels to a hockey coach nearby.

Of. Course we will read here on GH on how someone cashed a big ticket predicting the Duke loss. Never fails.

Everyone in my group has either Auburn or Florida beating Houston. Experience > 5 star freshman. Sampson really knows what he's doing.

**edit** my bracket is currently in 2nd place. I have Florida winning by 6 and the other guy has them winning by 10, 84-74

It's tainted.

It was a bad call and an almost classic Big Ten officiated game. A football game until the last five minute when they got whistle happy. Puke choked but if I would be unhappy if I wasn’t a neutral observer.

Of course, they could've helped their cause by making more than one field goal in the last ten and a half minutes.

Blown call a minute earlier on the kick out of bounds? Let’s not cherry pick. Numerous bad calls ALL game

Great point. That was a terrible missed call at a point where Houston could not afford to lose any more time. Yet they overcame it.

And DJ wasn't even in sight!

Naaaahhhhh...... that would involve not being oppressed by the oppressor.
