Yeah that's about right. But we don't need to pick on Sid. He's done a helluva job over the years and everyone knows he's showing his age. But you know what, people still listen to him and read him. I have respect for the man but I don't put much credence in his judgement at this point in his life.

You just have to take it for what it's worth.

(Yeah he's always been a homer but better to have at least one homer in this town. Reusse and Souhan hate the U and will do everything they can to bring down the new coach no matter who it is.).

I agree - despite our slings and arrows, it will be a sad day when Sid can't continue. No one knows Minnesota sports (over a half century) in detail like Sid. He's a self-made institution.
