per Sid:

• The Gophers athletic department is having trouble coming close to reaching their goal of raising the $190 million to improve facilities. But the Foundation for Minnesota Baseball, a group that came up with $450,000 for lights at Siebert Field, is making progress in producing the $8 to $10 million originally budgeted for a hitting facility, new press box, clubhouse and roof over the concourse.

Go Gophers!!

Sid is having trouble with being credible.

Sid creates an article stating how the Gophers are building a $70m football facility which is suppose to be top of the line, then later creates an article stating that fundraising is coming up short and having issues.

Oh Sid, you pulled a quick one on us!

Beating the dead horse again:

It's all speculation until Teague releases some real numbers. I'm a small-town guy, and in a small town, if the Jaycees or the Chamber of commerce is raising money for a project, they put up a sign/billboard with the goal at the top, and they color in the segments as the money is raised, so everyone knows their progress and how close (or not close) they are to reaching the goal.

The longer we go with no details, the more speculation and skepticism there will be.
