Sid is high-larious! My mom is 92 and doesn't know squat about sports and she could be as cognizant a sports commentator as Sid is now.

But I've come to like Sid more. He's a legend and he doesn't give up. King of the Rolodex in his prime.
 



I cant wait for him to retire, but i have a feeling that he's right. I have an awful feeling somebody picked up the phone and gave him the scoop, just because he's....well Sid.

I still recall the press conference when Brewster was hired and Sid got the first question. Brewster and Maturi exchanged a funny look between them. Im sure they discussed it previously and Maturi made sure that Brewster knew who Sid was before the press conference and was making sure that Brewster made a good first impression with Sid. It seemed almost like a girl bringing home a new boyfriend and making sure she had daddy's approval.
 


Sumlin had a defense which finished 104th in the country. Thats a big reason for having a bad year
 



This would contradict Zach Johnson's assertions on Gi that it is a head coach.

Guess ol' Sid missed the part where Chryst was Riley's OC in Corvallis in 2003-2004.

It was never a good fit. You know it. We know it. Most of all, Chryst knows it.
 

This sitting head coach stuff is setting up like smokescreen

This is setting up more and more like the last interview on Thursday is the real deal and the Dells interview was more like a finalist interview not just the final formal interview. I would be willing that it is Chryst that get's off that jet with Maturi from Madison to Rochester MN and then they ride in like on a horse and it is at Bierman that the media catches them.

Hey if you think it is Petersen I would be happy with that

Petersen would create a buzz. Gophers football kind of needs that. It would be talked about a lot, I hope your right about 2011-2012 for BSU football Matt, even better for the Gophers.
 

I don't think that it'll be Petersen (not to be confused with I think it won't be Petersen, if that makes any sense). I honestly don't know who to think it will be. I am not sold that it's likely Edsall like so many seem to believe, and I only hope that it is Petersen. But I think that it won't be Chryst.
