per Sid:

Even if the Vikings do travel overseas for one of their eight home games, they will still have to pay the University of Minnesota the $3 million for each of the two seasons scheduled. That price is firm, regardless of the number of games played at the Gophers stadium.

Also as part of the use agreement signed with the Gophers, the Vikings will pay $500,000 per home game in expenses, and that money will be on top of the yearly amount paid to the U.

Go Gophers!!

I wish the U would have demanded $10 million a year.

If the Vikings go with heated tarps idea

If the Vikings put in heated tarps instead of a heating coil system for the field then the U should require an offset and
require the Vikings to pay for converting the bench seating areas to chair backs. You could increase overall seating capacity doing that, and it would lesten the need for temporary seating in other sections of the stadium by the Jumbo scoreboard.

Yes, but the Iowa women wouldn't have liked the conversion of bench seating to chair backs!!!!
