Memo to Gophers basketball coach Tubby Smith: Just a suggestion for a change, one some of your players have indicated would make them happy.
Now that the Gophers have been selected for the NCAA tournament and play a beatable UCLA team on Friday in Austin, Texas, it would help if you would drop your philosophy of taking out key players such as Trevor Mbakwe, Rodney Williams and other starters and benching them until the second half if they pick up two first-half fouls.
