“The chair of the department that I’m teaching in here at the university happens to be Chinese,” Maturi said. “He has a good relationship with some of the universities there and he asked me if I wanted to go and I said that I would be delighted. I’m really excited about it.

“I’ve never been there before and probably would never get there any other way, so I’m excited.”

Here's how pathetic "the end" is for Ol' Joel - he got exiled to the Siberian Front . . . . in China.

What an absolutely tragi-comic ending. They found that he was still so toxic and so dangerous in his job - even the one that sent him to ride out what should have been a whisper-silent coast to retirement in his completely unwarranted Golden Parachute make-work bull$#1+ job - they had to find a way to get him half way across the planet. At once - how effing fitting and PERFECT. My God!!

Oh well, the oolong tea and letters from Pam, Timmy, et al will be comforting.
