If Tubby had already gotten verbals from them, then Sid's column would make sense.

I wouldn't want to risk them decommitting, but right now there is no indication any of them are likely to sign with us.
 

Poopy pants also says coach K was watching Tyus after Duke lost in the NIT. I am pretty sure they didn't make the NIT.
 



Sid has said this about every coach who was about to be fired. Even Brewster.
 

It's kinda like Hartman and Reusse are competing to see who can be love/hate the Gophers the most.

Yep, he's a lapdog for whoever is in charge at the time and will suck up to them to make sure he keeps getting access. Firing Brewster was a mistake, Horton should be retained as head coach, Jim Molinari deserves to stick around...
 

Anyone who takes Sid's word about hirings and firings seriously is in a world of hurt....

Just don't ever question whether Sid has the most inside connections, or smoke will come out his ears.
 


What? Sid recommends keeping a local coach? This HAS to be a first. Sid is normally such a hard nosed, take no prisoners, journalist.

He has a reason for that however. They're all his "close personal friends" after all....

Maybe Tubby and Co. should have politely asked Billy Donovan and the Gators to not do that. Makes it too hard to win and that's not fair. ;)
 

Maybe they should have called Obama, so they could start in a balanced approach the 2nd half!

Sid at press con asking Teauge why he couldn't wait till next year. Coaches have been recruiting the 3 kids from 2014 and now the new coaches will have to start all over.
