Thanks for posting the article link. Much of what is talked about is basic Sports Psychology. Process goals vs Outcome goals. Most successful coaches, regardless of the sport or level in which they are coaching, focus on the processes.

Many of us on the forum have heard Coach Kill in a number of interviews where the term "process" is used.
There are processes involved in developing consistency and competitiveness. I am 100% convinced Coach Kill knows these steps need to be taken day to day, week to week, in developing consistent outcomes. Those outcomes involve conviction, hard work, belief in what one does, and most importantly, patience in seeing it through.

There are many more variables (not mentioned in the article) that Saban has that Coach Kill does not.
