SI: Gophers have 12th best frontcourt in the nation

#12
Minnesota
Trevor Mbakwe, Colton Iverson, Ralph Sampson, Rodney Williams
The Gophers collapsed last season -- losing 10 of their final 11 games, after losing key members of their backcourt -- but Mbakwe proved himself as one of the country's best power forwards by averaging a double-double (13.9 ppg, 10.5 rpg). As a unit, their frontcourt ranked fourth nationally in block percentage at 16.7.

What they think matters little.Too lazy to even do their research and have Colton on the team and you should in a decent preview have Mo Walker mentioned.

If Rodney could find a way to have a break out year it might be higher.

Absolutely love our front court, we have so many talented and unique pieces for Tubby to mix and match. If all goes well, we could have the deepest front court in the country. Trevor, Ralph, Mo, Elliott, Ingram, Rodney, Oto, and Austin Hollins is a very good group at the 3-5 positions.

Also love seeing my Zags make the list too. They also have a great group of bigs. Sacre and Harris are going to be one of the better PF/C combos and Olynyk and Dower are very good off the bench. Can't wait for college basketball to start up, all 3 of my teams (MN, Zags, and Marquette) are looking pretty good/interesting.
