I'll see you all next Tuesday for the new coach's press conference.

It's all quiet on the Bierman front until then, I promise.
 


Well no press conference scheduled tells us all we need to know. They won't be announcing on the weekend. Possibly Monday (April Fools) or Tuesday. My initial pick in the pickem was Brad Stevens on Tuesday. And I'm sticking with it until that day passes. Who wold have thought Tubby would have a new job before we had a new coach?

My brain needs the weekend off. As fun as coaching searches are on Gopherhole. I need a break!

Here's my italics prediction for the timing of the press conference:

Teague is going to announce in 2 hours that he secretly froze Wooden's head and is working on reanimating him to coach the Gophers next year.

Sunday paper is most read of the week. (Yes, I know papers are dying.) Sunday evening news is the most watched of the week. Sports shows on three channels Sunday night. You'd have all of talk radio wanting your guy on the air on Monday. You don't want your news lost on Saturday, but owning the news on Sunday ain't bad.
