Should have song the AF song

What a great game. The atmosphere was excellent and the stadium awesome. My only negative was that I wish the Gophers would have gone over to the AF sideline after the game and sung the US Air Force song with the AFA after the game much like Notre Dame does with Navy and Army after the game. I think that would have been a very classy thing to do. Other than that I thought the U of M did a very good job of showing respect for the USAF.

Well we in the Marching band played the AF song at the AF fans after the game was over, if that's any consolation...

Definetly classy move by the band

Thanks for the heads up. I did not hear that since I was leaving with the students; who were pretty raucous. I know you guys in the band played the Air Force song before the game. Very classy move by the band, even more so since you played it at the end as well. The band truly is the "Pride of Minnesota".

Still, it would have been nice if the football team would have song with the AFA. Oh, well maybe next time...lol
