This thread was already started at 2:08 PM today. Do you read before posting?
In another post I speculated that he will split the first team duties in practice this week. Weber will get the start and the coaches will be behind him with a real quick hook. I still believe this and its probably the right way to do it.
Today was not Weber's fault but the problem is every team we face this year their quarterback looks better then ours. Weber has no rythm and has struggled all season. I think the O-line has taken way to much blame for our qb problems this year. I do think Gray will see a lot of playing time next week even though Weber will start the game.
Weber's confidence is so shaken at this point that he's gone from being a potted plant to having happy feet. When he's right he's our best QB. A good portion of the blame has to be placed on the offensive coordinator who has created an offense that has everyone confused.
Okay, this may sound dumb, but what about switching every play. That way the QB runs in with the play from the sideline each down. Maybe they would get too winded doing that every play.
That's not dumb...that's how a 2 QB System usually works.......
Not any 2 QB systems that i've seen. Usually a QB will get a series and then the other QB would get a series. Sometimes, they'll switch every couple plays but i've never seen a QB system where they'll switch every play.
It was mentioned earlier on the thread...that if Decker plays, then Weber should start....I don't see what the two have to do with each other. Pretty sure I saw #5 throw a nice bullet pass to #7 on Saturday.
I think anyone who watched on saturday would say that Gray needs to be on the field a lot more. There should be no question there.
We can tolerate some youthful mistakes here and there, a lot more understandable than the same ol' mistakes over and over from the vet.
