As a side note, I chuckled when I heard this talked about on TV shows/Pods as "Four 10 Minute Quarters".

I'm not a math wiz but it they are referred to as "quarters", I think the "four" part can be left out.

I guess the Badger Marching Band would take issue with that at Camp Randall.
 

Guess things change in sports. Dunking started in that Will Farrell movie Semi-Pro. That caught on. I'm somewhat of a basketball historian, obviously.
 

Nah. I don't think it's too much to ask teams to put together a roster with at least 8-9 competent guys to play a collective 48 minutes.

All this would do is dramatically increase the salaries for the top 15-20 guys in the league when you don't need a bench for more than five (5) minutes a game.

If you really want speed up the games, just give each team only two (2) timeouts per Half.

Tons of downstream impacts, but I think overall, I think I would be in favor of it.

I think as a measure of control, I’d prefer if they had to be paid by game.

Would need to include putting them on IR for a definite period when hurting,

I do think my idea is simplistic, and would need tons of worj to make it fair, but they’re has never been a more coddled NBA.

The crappy guys are overpaid. The league demands subsidy to achieve obscene revenues. Threatening to move for noncompliance.

Then again maybe it is me just opposing anything Adam Silver says because I think he is the human manifestation of a bridge troll.

You said it. Silver is scum. I expect him to be the type that went to the bar with Greedo, in Star Wars.

However, he’d be the type to wait in the Shadows, to see how it turns out; then tell the Storm Troopers for Cash, or of if Han didn’t shoot first, he would have shot Greedo. Taken Han’s body to Jabba for cash.

Zero. Just always thought Silver has a particularly slimy presence. Maybe Golem? If Star Wars isn’t your thing,
