Gophers basketball senior Trevor Mbakwe, 22, graduates next month with a degree in parks and recreation.

"I love kids, and I would like to start some youth programs around the cities," he said.

Mbakwe, by the way, is projected as the No. 16 overall pick in next June's NBA draft by nbadraft.net.

This is so nice to read. After a choppy beginning to his college career, with transfers and some personal issues, it's a tribute to Trevor that he's persevered and is achieving both on and off the court. Congrats, Trevor!
