Maybe the two of them need to get involved in getting a deal rather then adding to their attorneys nest egg and their frustrations.

This is not unusual at all. Mason didn't sign his last contract until after he was canned. Tubby waited at least a year if not two to finally sign his. Like Maturi said, the Memorandum of Understanding is all that's legally needed. Why this was even a story is beyond me.

The U has the slowest legal dept in North America. I won't comment on the AD, but since we have never had a contract done quickly with him, he does not appear to be a burner on that issue either.
