Burton is designing a life skills program for student-athletes, a business plan he plans to make a career beginning next March.
Burton was one of six Gophers - along with Melvin Newbern, Richard Coffey, Kevin Lynch, Bob Martin and Walter Bond - with whom he played who got a chance to play in the NBA.
