Pssst: Ex-Gophers men’s hockey coach Don Lucia is among finalists for commissioner of the upstart Central Collegiate Hockey Association.

Go Gophers!!

Not sure if he'd be qualified to do something like this, but then I don't know his background behind the scenes.

He would be plenty qualified. Hockey positions get filled by hockey people.

If those schools are going to play as the CCHA now, to get away from Alaskas, then the NCHC can go back to playing as the WCHA, and end the farce for good and all. Trade back Bemidji & Mankato for Western Mich and Miami. Net change of losing Big Ten + Notre Dame schools, and the Alaskas.

I had hoped that he would have gotten the job of Commissioner of the BIG Hockey Cinference and we would have gotten a new coach.
