Can't tell if he is confused and think that, if the B1G champ goes to the CFP, the other division winner automatically goes to the Rose Bowl. Or, if he is saying that, when the dust settles, the east teams could have all beaten each other enough that the west champ could end up filling that spot. From first read, it sounds like the former.
