History will judge whether Tanner Morgan returning is good for the program and quarterback recruiting.

If he does, he will be the most decorated quarterback in Gopher Football history.

Members of the WMU Mafia that followed PJ Fleck to Dinkytown: Morgan, CAB, JMS, Otomewo may not want to give it up just yet. Many more other players may want to return if Mo Ibrahim is returning. They have some unfinished business.

The main thought running through my mind if they opted in is are they good enough to win the BigTen West title outright? The Big West is becoming a much stronger division.

Thanks for compiling these. If I am not mistaken Faalele was the only key guy with eligibility left that had one (unless there have been more). Will be interesting to see what the others decide to do.

Players who return for their extra year of eligibility are wise. They have better NFL prospects with an extra year of college football.

They have an unfinished business for a certain title.

This upcoming 2022 NFL Draft will be very crowded due to the Pandemic extra year.
