Anyone know if Kill drives. It would be terrible if he had a seizure while driving. I feel sorry for Kill and the little girl that he ran on the field with but you have to deal with the cards you are dealt. The reason I'm asking is how will this effect his ability to get around for recruitung or is it all done by flying now?

Seizures are not new for Kill...

So unless something else new turns up I would expect things to fall back the way they were prior to Saturday's game in terms of driving and recruiting.

It was the third time in his career that Kill had had a seizure on the sideline. Both happened when he coached at Southern Illinois, in 2001 and in '05. He also collapsed and had a seizure while taping his highlight show in 2006.

He never has missed a game because of seizures, and if history repeats, he will be on the sideline Saturday when the Gophers play Miami (Ohio).

In 2005, while at SIU, Kill was diagnosed during the season with kidney cancer. He had a tumor removed from his kidney in January 2006, and his cancer has been in remission since.

seizures and driving

Firstly my condolences to Coach Kill and wish him a speedy recovery. My expectation is that he will coach this Saturday. Driving may be an issue as many states have laws that state that a person must be seizure free at least 6 months before resuming the driving privilege. Am not sure as to Minnesota law. Once again wishing him a speedy recovery.
