Getting tired of all these games(men't and women's) listed as BTN+ and ESPN3.

Are we a leader or just a legend?

Hell, FSN has an alternate channel. I'd rather pay for an alternate channel than BTN+.

It's kind of sad. With the expansion of the conference, alternate channels are expected.

They do for football. There's zero reason they can't use them for basketball.

Today's games:

BTN - 11 & 2:30 & 7

ABC - 11 & 2:30

ESPN - ......

ESPN2 - 11

NBC - 2:30.........Northwestern @ Notre Dame

do they even use the ones for football?

During non-conference only. DirecTV and Dish have them. Cable, it depends on provider. They're provided to any who will provide the channel space. They claim the providers will not provide the channel space year-round. I call BS. They're always available on DirecTV and my cable company has a channel for it that just sits blank 361 days per year.

sec has like 3 alternate channels, atleast in my area through comcast.

They do, but I don't think Comcast provides them. I think only DirecTV gives access to them but I may be wrong.

Comcast/Xfinity does have them for football - I haven't been able to find a HD version though - annoying

Channels 692 and 693 on Comcast

Ridiculous that they don't use the alternate for basketball as well. Makes no sense.

It's all about the $. That's what I would assume anyways, there's no other explanation for it.

I checked on this the other day, and I think that only 1 or 2 games will be shown on my cable system before the B1G season begins. Everything else is ESPN3 or ESPNU - which are not carried on my municipal cable system. I would consider going to a Dish system - but the guy who runs the municipal cable system is a friend of mine, and I would never hear the end of it.

Well tell him to shape up then.

BTW you left out mention of the games on BTN+.

I believe my count was 10 non-conference games on ESPN3, ESPNU or BTN+.

We need to start a demonstration.....where is Bellcourt?
