I have seen some ask about the current wait list situation for season tickets.
There is not a wait list for football. There is an interest list that is free for people to sign up for. The interest list then will receive an email when season tickets become available and it is first come fist serve for purchasing the tickets.

I hadn't heard about this "interest list." The U has a true "waiting list" for hockey season tickets but it looks like when they get to me, I'll either be pushing up daisies or won't remember what hockey is. ...

Unfortunately, they are not communicating the existance of this "interest list" to the people calling the ticket office. I have seen someone else mention it too but I have two Bro's in law that have tried a combined FIVE times with no help at all other than a comment to "keep calling back." Perhaps if they call the ticket office five more times they will eventually find someone who actually knows of the 'interest list' and can direct them to it.

1) Where is this interest list?

2) Hockey is actually burning through the wait list at an alarming rate. Be ready to write a check if you are serious which most on the list are not. That program needs a good season this year in a big way.

A few weeks back, I received something in the mail about having a chance to buy extra season tickets because I donated money (bought donation seats) to the University. No real details about the process on the mailer.

It depends who you talk to in the Ticket Office, I was told about the interest list when I called to ask about season tickets for my brother. They obviously need to do better training. A simple solution is to have a list of important information by each ticket agent's phone.

...

What they do for the list is when you call in and ask to be put on, they make a note in your account that you are interested. When seats become available, the ticket office will send out an email to all interested. First to reply get to buy tickets. This appears to be the best way right now and has worked out great. If they go by an actual list, then they have to call people and since most dont usually answer, they have to leave a message and wait for a return call before they can move on to the next person.
